Railfanning

My Railfanning Exploits from our 2025 Roadtrip. My main objectives for this Roadtrip were to see the Minnesota Commercial Railroad in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Dayton's Bluff in Saint Paul, MN. and the Iowa Traction Railway in Mason City, Iowa. I accomplished these as well as some bonus Railfanning for which I will share with you here. I'll show the highlights from this trip first, then share with you the bonus material I was able to get.

These pictures show the Locomotives Minnesota Commercial (MNNR) has in storage. As you can see, there are some ALCO's tucked in there amongst some GE's. My understanding is the Minnesota Commercial and it's new owners are retiring it's ALCO and MLW fleet so even though they are in storage and not being used, I'm glad I got some pics of these while there were still on the MNNR.

The number 83 loco you see to the
right of this pic is an MLW RS18

I arrived at MNNR's Midway Yard around 12:00 which meant a 2 hour wait until the first local would roll back into Town after it's days work. This first Local has a GE B39-8E for power.
